老黄芽菜鸡名声在外，生意好得不得了，还要排队等座，本地人早已习惯，外地人也慕名而来。进去基本不用点菜，芽菜鸡是主打，还有一碟鸡脚、青菜，一份汤，4、5个人够吃，味道上乘，特别是芽菜饱满而爽，据说是怡保的水好，上菜速度也快，点了5分钟后就陆续有来，也不用担心语言问题，粤语、华语、英语皆可。旁边有一桌印度裔一家三口吃得津津有味，使用筷子非常熟练，看来是常来的食客。
